Organize a THINKfast!
THINKfast! is our fundraising and education event for youth and young adults. It’s a great way to rally your school or parish youth group around a great cause. Funds raised go to Development and Peace partners in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.

We have programs in Madagascar. Here is the link to learn more about our projects there. Development and Peace does not have any specific projects on children’s working conditions – but we do support school programs in a number of countries (Philippines, Afghanistan and more) and we have a partner in Peru, called MANTHOC,(click here) who help street kids organize themselves to get better and safer jobs, and have classes after work so they can go to school too. It’s a super cool program and they have their own website, but it is in Spanish (click here). MANTHOC would be a neat project to do a report on. You can also google MANTHOC to see what others have to say about their program. I hope this info helps you in your project.

Currently, our blog is using a Wordpress Theme, of which there are thousands to choose from. We create many of our own graphics and headers, however, so those were done by designers and our online team. Hope this helps and thank you for the nice feedback – we like it too!
